When the device rotates the full complement cylindrical roller bearing, the dial indicator must be fixed to the end surface of the case first, so that the contact tip of the indicator moves on the bearing shaft ring raceway to change the bearing, and the indicator pointer of the dial indicator should be observed while migrating and changing. The pointer swings, indicating that the shaft circle is not perpendicular to the line next to the shaft. If the box shell hole is deep, you can also use the extended dial indicator to grind. This is a good way to grind the perpendicularity of the shaft circle to the line next to the shaft. If the bearing device is installed upside down, not only the bearing will not work abnormally, but also the joint faces will be severely worn. Because the difference between the shaft ring and the seat ring is not very obvious, special care should be taken during assembly, and the reverse installation should not be shown. When the device is correct, the seat ring should be able to actively adapt to the rotation of the rotating body to ensure that the rotating body is located in the high and low ring raceways. In addition, there should be a gap of 0.2-0.5mm between the seat ring of the self-aligning ball bearing and the bearing seat hole to compensate for the error caused by the complete machining and incorrect device. When the bearing ring is in operation When offset, this gap can ensure its active adjustment, avoid touching and friction, making it run abnormally. Otherwise, it will cause major damage to the bearing.

1. Commonly used types of rotating bearings: rolling mill bearings, joint bearings, slewing bearings, spherical bearings with seat, thrust ball bearings, one-way bearings, full complement roller bearings, thrust roller bearings, linear movable bearings.

For rotating bearings with larger diameters, the gap is larger to allow direct detection with a narrow feeler gauge. For bearings with a smaller diameter, the gap is small, which is inconvenient to measure with a feeler gauge, but the backlash of the bearing must be measured with a feeler gauge of appropriate thickness.

2. Lead detection method

Using the lead method to detect the gap of a full complement cylindrical roller bearing is more accurate than using a feeler gauge, but more troublesome. The aluminum wire used for testing should be soft, and the diameter should not be too large or too small. The most imaginary diameter is 1.5 to 2 times the gap. In actual work, soft lead wire is usually used for testing.

When testing, first open the bearing cover, select a lead wire of appropriate diameter, cut it into 15-40 mm long sections, place them on the journal and the interface of the high and low bearings, cover the bearing cover, and tighten it according to the specified torque Bolts, then loosen the bolts, remove the bearing caps, use a micrometer to detect the thickness of the flattened lead wire, and find the uniform value of the gap at the top of the bearing. If the top clearance is too small, pads can be added on the joint surface of the upper and lower tiles. If it is too large, reduce the pad, scrape or re-pouring the tiles.

The circumferential surface of the bearing ring should have good support and uniform force to reduce deformation and fully display the bearing capacity of high temperature bearings. The ferrule cannot slide in the tangential direction in its mating name, otherwise the mating surface will be damaged. The free-end bearing must be able to adapt to the change in the length of the shaft and the bearing seat hole, that is, there must be the ability to adapt to the axial position to swim within a certain range. Care must be taken to make the bearing device easy to disassemble, saving labor, time and expenses.
